The HSM Powerline SP 5088 shredder baler combination is a powerful paper/document disposal station that merges the FA 500.3, one of our best heavy-duty shredders, with a channel baling press. This machine is designed to handle large quantities of documents and data media carriers. Paper Documents can be compressed into bales weighing up to 90 kg, making it one of the top central office and archive shredding machines with baler combination. Its seamless integration of shredding and baling makes it a perfect solution for efficient and secure document destruction and disposal. Suitable materials include paper, paper clips, staples, credit/debit/loyalty cards, CD/DVDs, floppy disks, folders (for HSM Powerline SP 5088 - 10.5 x 40-76 and HSM Powerline SP 5088 - 6 x 40-53 only), USBs, etc. Please note that data media like USB sticks, CD drives, and so on can be shredded but not baled.
The HSM Powerline SP 5088 offers convenient material feeding through a non-slip conveyor belt, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The automatic oiler integrated into the device maintains consistently high cutting capacity and quality for the continuous loading shredder. Starting the combination is straightforward with its Plug-and-Play setup, allowing the conveyor belt shredder to be easily combined with the press.
The shredder features induction-hardened, solid steel cutting rollers that can handle staples and paper clips, guaranteeing durability. The powerful motor supports continuous operation with high cutting capacity, while the automatic reverse function eliminates paper jams for smooth processing.
The shredded material from the document shredder FA 500.3 is compressed into compact bales (please note that shredded data media cannot be baled), which are manually tied off with three baler straps of continuous polyester strapping and can be disposed of cleanly in a waste bag. The bale weight is variable and can be adjusted according to your requirements.
Safety is paramount with the HSM Powerline SP 5088. An emergency off safety bar on the loading table stops the device when pressure is applied, ensuring user safety. The system also features a powerful and energy-efficient dust extractor (HSM DE 4-100) that optimizes extraction and reduces dust emissions.
