The HSM Powerline SP 5080 is a versatile recycling machinery combination of the HSM Powerline FA 500.3 heavy-duty document shredder and a counter plate baling press. This integrated system ensures data security in archives while compressing shredded material into bales weighing between 40 and 80 kg, for easy recycling. Designed for efficiency and reliability, the Powerline SP 5080 shredder-baler combination offers seamless operation and high-capacity shredding and baling for demanding environments in central offices, archives, large office spaces, etc. Shredding material includes paper, folders (excluding the HSM Powerline SP 5080 - 1.9 x 15 mm & HSM Powerline SP 5080 - 3.9 mm x 40 mm), paper clips, credit/debit/loyalty cards, CD/DVDs, Floppy Disks, USBs, etc. Please note that data media can only be shredded by the machine, not baled.
The HSM Powerline SP 5080 industrial shredder and baler features a non-slip conveyor belt for convenient material feeding, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The automatic oiler maintains optimal performance by ensuring the shredding machine runs smoothly, providing consistently high cutting capacity and quality. The induction-hardened, solid steel cutting rollers handle staples and paper clips with ease, guaranteeing durability and longevity.
With a powerful motor with chain drive, the SP 5080 supports continuous operation, delivering high cutting capacity for large volumes of material. The shredded material is compressed into compact bales, which are manually tied off with three baler straps of continuous polyester strapping for secure document destruction. The variable bale weight can be adjusted according to specific requirements. The versatile recycling unit is available with different shredded particle dimensions: 1.9 x 15 mm, 6 x 40-53 mm, 3.9 x 40 mm, and 10.5 x 40-76 mm.
Safety is a top priority, and the SP 5080 is equipped with an emergency stop safety bar on the loading table, which halts the device when pressure is applied. The easy-to-use membrane keyboard, graphics-capable text display, and language selection ensure user-friendly operation. Automatic reverse functionality also prevents paper jams. The powerful and energy-efficient dust extractor HSM DE 4-100, available as an accessory, optimizes extraction and reduces dust emissions. The mobile machine is easy to handle and transport due to the castors with parking brakes.
For additional safety, the finished bale is output using a secure two-hand operation. The SP 5080 is designed for simple commissioning with Plug-and-Play capability, allowing the conveyor belt-shredder to be easily combined with a press at any time, providing flexible and efficient shredding and baling solutions.
